It is a tool to help artists to create new shaders with all the textures and utilities connected with only one button.

Works with Maya 2022 or higher.

It only uses Arnold and Maya Default Shaders.


Features:

  • Can read UDIM.
  • Automatically look for relatives maps and fill the rest.
  • Look for the last version of the texture found.


Notes:

  • To automatically fill the maps, the texture should have a specific nomenclature.
  • The map type will look for the words diffuse, specular, roughness, transmission, sss, ssscolor, bump, normal, displacement. (with or without Upper case at the beginning, e.g. diffuse or Diffuse)
  • The version should be v01 or V01, with two digits.
  • It doesn't matter the position if it has the two values to look for. (for example v01_normal_car.exr or car_normal_v01.exr)


Version:

1.0.4 - Added sanity check to auto search if the naming convention is wrong it will turn off and the artist will be able to select the textures manually.
